End of the Days of the Mourning

Farewell juloos heading towards Rehmatabad, Mazgaon
Today, the 8th of Rabiul Awwal came to an end of the mourning the martyrs of Karbala. There were  programmes of majalis all over the city. A central and final procession in the city left at 4.00 PM from Zainabia Imambada towards Rehmatabad, Mazgaon. Only few Anjumans participate in this juloos (procession).
Today the women have a hectic day. Ladies majalis are held at every locality and the day ends with rejoice and happines. They apply henna and dress in their best celebrating the coming of Eid-e-Zahra.
The 9th Rabiul Awwal is the day of the begining of the Imamat of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the promised one and the awaited saviour of the mankind.
We wish to every lover of Ahlul Bait (a.s.) a joyous day and request them that not to forget to pray for the early re-appearance of Imam of the Time, Hadhrat Hujjat (atfs). To give sadaqah (charity) on his behalf, prepare delicacies, visit each others homes and feed the poor and the destitute.
