7th of the Month of Ramadhan, 25th Death Anniversary of marhum Ghulam Hasnain Kararvi,
Remembering Marhum Sayed Ghulam Hasnain Rizvi Kararvi (taaba saraah) on his 25th death anniversary on 7th of the month of Ramadhan.
It’s been 25 years since Maulana Sayed Ghulam Hasanain Rizvi in Lucknow at the age of 62. A trustee of Zainabia Trust, Marhoom Ghulam Hasanain was the first editor of Al-Muntazar magazine published by the Association of Imam Mahdi (a.s.).
Besides Al-Muntazar, he was also the co-founder of Association of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) along with Marhum Agha Ismail Rajabi (taaba saraah), the pesh Imam of Moghul Masjid.
Maulana Ghulam Hasanain translated many Persian books/booklets written by Marhum Agha Ismail Rajabi (taaba saraah) into Urdu which were published through Idara-e-Nashre Uloom-e-Aal-Mohammad (s.a.w.), Moghul Masjid.
He had translated over 250 Persian books/booklets and unaccounted articles for the Association of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) into Urdu.
He taught Urdu to the students of Najafi House Hawza, Jamae Amirul Mo'mineen and mentored his students to become good and responsible Aalim-E-Deen. He always tried to bring out the best from the youths and always guided and encouraged them.
He polished the Urdu language of his colleagues and even those who were elder to him. For example, one of his best friends, Sayed Mohammad Akbar Rizvi who is two years elder than him, and the current editor of the al-Muntazar magazine, proudly says that Marhum was his teacher and calls him Ustad-E-Mohtaram.
Akhtar Hasan Rizvi (Rizvi Builders) still feels his absence. The sad demise of Marhum Sayed Ghulam Hasnain (taaba saraah) was a personal loss for him as he always consulted him in religious matters.
It was marhum who insisted Dr Rizvi establish a college at his native place (Karari). Today Rizvi College in Karari stands taller in 4/5 Districts around Allahabad with more than five faculties and a modern English medium school.
Marhum's love for Imam Mahdi (atfs) was profound. After a hectic tour of eastern Uttar Pradesh, holding exhibitions and functions, celebrating the birth of Imam-e-Zamana (a.s.) during the Holy Month of Sha'ban, (with Kanpur being his last city) he breathed his last in Lucknow on January 27, 1996. He was buried in his home town Karari, beside his father Marhum Amir Ali ibne Roshan Ali. After his burial in his ancestral graveyard, the cemetery was renamed Waadi-Us-Salaam.
Marhum Sayed Ghulam Hasnain (taaba saraah) never believed in groups among the Mo'mineen. He brought the people together. He organised the Moharram Majalis in Karari as the timings of majalis in Imambadas clashed with each other. Now the Majalis are held as per the timetable arranged by him.
Maulana Mehmoodul Hasan of Jaunpur recited the Majlis on the eve of his Chehlum at the Shia Jama Masjid in Karari. His Chehlum Majlis was addressed by Marhum Maulana Mirza Mohammad Athar Sb. On the evening of his Chehlum, Maulana Sayed Safi Haider Sb, recited a Majlis by his grave at Waadi-Us-Salaam.
He left behind four sons and three daughters. Janab Ainur Raza is his eldest son-in-law, Hujjatul Islam Maulana Sayed Hasnain Kararvi is his second son-in-law and Prof. Nazar Abbas Jafri is his youngest son-in-law.
His only brother Janab Sayed Ghulam Sibtain Rizvi was a scholar himself.
Marhum was very kind and loving. His wrote eulogies under the pen name “Shafeeq”. He was very much in love with his hometown and wrote Kararvi after his name. Hujjatul Islam Sayed Mohammad al-Musavi always referred to him as “Janab Kararvi Saheb.”
May Almighty Allah elevates his position in the Hereafter. I feel that during the time of the re-appearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) he will come out from his grave wrapped in Kafan, holding a sword in his hand as one of his (atfs) helpers. InshaAllah.
A request of Sura-e-Fateha for his departed soul.

He left behind we 4 bros. and 3 sisters. Janab Ainur Reza Rizvi is his eldest son in law, Hujjatul Islam Maulana Sayed Hasnain Kararvi is second son in law and Prof. Nazar Abbas is his youngest son in law.
His only brother Janab Sayed Ghulam Sibtain Rizvi is living in Karari and is a scholar himself. He now manages Amjadia Madrasa after his retirement. He is a good khushnawees (calligrapher) and was a Marsiya recitor during his younger days.
