Bahrain to Jewish leader: Iran is a threat to us all

Iran is a common threat to Bahrain, Israel and the US, the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was quoted as saying by a Jewish official on Sunday.
Rabbi Marc Schneier, vice president of the World Jewish Congress, said the king told him he was alarmed by the Islamic Republic during a 45- minute meeting held in the capital city of Manama late last month.
“I made a point how it’s ironic how we share a common enemy and he acknowledged that Iran has been a threat,” said Schneier, who gave the king a hanukkia at the end of their conversation.
The news comes at a time when the Sunni elite that rules Bahrain has been accused of oppressing the country’s Shi’ite majority. Complete News

Electronic Media Boomerang on Western Propoganda

The Media, either Print or Electronic has boomeranged on the western countries. They were used for propaganda and not for the information. The golden era of their monopoly over media has come to an end. The secretary Hillary Clinton had to concede this truth to the world that American CNN and British BBC are far behind from other channels of the world. Aljazeera of Qatar, Russia Today of Russia and Press TV of Iran have pushed them far behind.
These three can be watched live on internet.

Younger Son of Shah of Iran Commits Suicide

Alireza Pahlavi, the youngest son of former Iranian dictator Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, has committed suicide at his home in the United States.
His older brother, Reza Pahlavi, confirmed the death in a statement on his personal website on Tuesday, saying his sibling had been suffering from chronic depression.
The statement said that although his 44-year-old brother had struggled for years to overcome his suffering, “he finally succumbed, and during the night of the 4th of January 2011, in his Boston residence, took his own life.”
Police say he died from a single gunshot which was apparently self-inflicted.
His father, who had been supported by the United States, was ousted by the Islamic Revolution in 1979, and members of the family have been living in exile in the US for decades.
Alireza is the second member of the Pahlavi family to commit suicide.
The youngest daughter of the family, Leila Pahlavi, died in 2001 at the age of 31 after taking a large amount of cocaine and barbiturates. Her body was found in a London hotel.
