Jashn-e-Masarrat at Mahim

A programme was held to celebrate the birthday of Hadhrat Imam Husain (a.s.) on 3rd August 2008 at Mehfil-e-Panjatan, Mahim,. The local and outstation poets presented their poetries and were very well appreciated by the audience.
There were two speeches, one in the beginning by Maulana Sayed Hasnain Kararvi and other by Maulana Zaheer Abbas in the end. Outstation poets were Janab Raza Sirsavi and Waqar Sultanpuri, while a young boy from Nawgawan Sadaat recited a very breath taking poetry which filled the atmosphere with spirituality and appreciation.
The local poets, Mahdi Azmi, Sho'oor Azmi, Hulchal Azmi, Mash-hood Danapuri, and other prominent poets also built a joyous atmosphere. Among the Maulanas, Zafar Abbas sb from Malad Janab Zaheer Husain from Mahim graced the occasion. jashn ended at 12.30 am. The crowd gathered instead of incessant rains.
