Jannatul Baqie Protest Tonight at Zainabia
The date of 8th Shavval refreshes the sad memories of the demolition of Jannatul Baqi. The hordes who carried out this henious crime justify their actions based on selfish motives supported by false interpretation of the Holy Quran and traditions.
- They claim that building mosques over graves is Bid'ah.
- They claim that visiting such mosques is Shirk.

Tonight the Birth Anniversary of Hadhrat Abul Fazlil Abbas (a.s.) at Zainabia, Mumbai
The Shia world celebrates the birthday of Hadhrat Abul Fazlil Abbas (a.s.) on 4th of Sha'baan, but, it is the uniqueness of Bombay Shias that they celebrate it on 7th of Rajab.
in this regard to-night there is a Mehfil-e-Maqasidah at Zainabia Imambada organised by Anjuman-e-Alamdaria, Azamgarh. It is the 63rd year of celebration under the banner of "Mad-he-Baabul Hawaij."
Eight outstation poets and Nine local poets will read out their poetry.
Starting time for this Mehfil is 9.00 PM which may continue upto Fajr prayers.

Remembering Taqdeerul Hasan Rizvi (Kallan Bhai)
Six months have passed for the demise of marhum Taqdeerul Hasan Rizvi famous as Kallan bhai, the proprietor of Al Khaiber Enterprises.
Two Majalis have been organised for his eisaal-e-sawab. One at Iranian Masjid (Moghul Masjid) and other at Zainabia Imambada of 7th & 8th September 2012 respectively. All are invited.

Commemoration of Martyrdom of Imam Ali (a.s.) in Mumbai City
The second Laylatul Qadr, the 21st night of the holy month of Ramadhan. The believers Mumbai city and the suburbs were awake for this great night. The Masajid and Imambadas were bustling with activities. The murmering of Jaushane Kabeer Dua could be heard from these places. the sound of mourning could be heard in Majalis on the narration of the martyrdom Imam Ali (a.s.).
After finishing the Sehri in the different part of the city the Majalis were held and the replica of the Taboot of Hadhrat (a.s.) were carried by the youths and nauha and seena zani was done. The atmosphere was filled with "Ya Ali Maula" and "Haider Maula." Mira Road, Govandi, Mumbra, Kurla, Andheri, Bandra, Zainabia, Moghul Masjid and at scores of place had this kind of commemorative programmes.
The Major event was held at Zainabia Imambada in South Bombay. Thousands of mourners attended the Juloos (procession) in the early hours of 21st Ramadhan. Below video is of Zainabia Imambada the starting point of the Juloos which terminates at Imamia Masjid.

Laylatul Qadr A'maal in Mumbai
19th Ramadhan is one of the saddest day in the Islamic history. This day Imam Ali ibn Abu-Taalib, the cousin & son-in-law of the messenger of Allah was was struck with a lethal poisonous sword while he was in a state of prostration in Masjid al-Kufah, Najaf by the wretched and accursed ibne Muljam and Qutaam. It was a plot of Muawiyah the son of Abu Sufiyan and father of accursed Yazeed.
Hadhrat Ali (a.s.) was fatally wounded by the poisoned sword, he breath his last on the 21st of Ramadhan. In all the Masajid and Imambadas of Mumbai Mumbai city, momineen are awake the whole night and perform specific shabe qadr a'amaal. People also gather at their relatives or friends homes and spend their night in reading holy Qur'an, specific duas, prayers etc. and remember their Maola Imam Ali (a.s.). Mourn on him by arranging Majalis and Nauha khaani.
This year Hojjatul Islam Maulana Sayed Ehtesham Rizvi has been invited from Qom to be lead the prayers at Zainabia Imambada. He gives short lectures daily from 6.45 PM till namaaz of Maghrib. He will also help the believers in performing A'amaal for all the Three nights i.e. 19, 21 & 23 Ramadhan.
On 21st Ramadhan, replica of the Taboot of Hadhrat Ali (a.s.) is also carried from Zainabia to Moghal Masjid during Sahr and before morning prayers.

Juloos-e-Haidery 2012, Mumbai
Tomorrow the 13th of Rajab. The birth anniversary of Hadhrat Imam Ali ibne Abi Taalib. It will be celebrated in Mumbai by holding a procession (Juloos) which will commence from Kesar Baagh and will pass through Palagali Dongri, Shustri Imambada, Zainabia Imambada, Yacoob Street, J J Hospital and Moghal Masjid.
The organisers are Anjuman-e-Vali-e-Asr of Mumbai.
The timing is 3.00 PM till Maghrib.

Fill the Forms and form groups. The rates are reasonable.
Special category for Shia Ithna Asharis.
The accommodation in Makkah during Hajj season has TWO categories.
1. Green and 2.Azizia
The approximate amount of Green Category will be Rs. 1,50,000/- (Hotel Distance to Haram is 1.5kms.)
The approximate amount of Azizia Category will be Rs. 1,15,000/- Suburbs of Makka with free Bus service.

Ghadeer Function at Zainabia
There was a function at Zainabia Imambada, Mumbai on Saturday 12th November from 9.00 PM onward. Wherein outstation and local poets paid their tributes on the occasion of Ghadeer.
Hojjatul Islam Maulana Sayed Hasnain Kararvi delivered a magnificent speech.
Renowned sub-continent poet Janab Raza Sirsavi was conferred Zainabia Award 2011 for his contribution to Urdu poetry and literature in memory of late Maulana Sayed Ghulam Hasnain Kararvi (TS).

Majlis-e-Tarheem at Zainabia Imambada
There was a Majlis for the sawaab of Marhum Sayyad Ghulam Hasnain Rizvi Kararvi, commemorating his 15th death anniversary at Zainabia Imambada.
The Majlis was addressed by hojjatul Islam Maulana Sayed Hasnain Rezavi Kararvi. Qari Tusi commenced the programme with the recitation of the holy Qur'an.
Sayed Mohammad Akbar Rizvi, the editor of al-Muntazar came the long way from Nerul to attend this majlis. Maulana Ahmad Ali Abidi was also among the attendees.
The principal of Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce Dr. Zakir Husain Farooqi was also present.
Islamic scholar Ashfaq Husain Murtazavi reflected his thoughts on marhum and said that it seems that he has recently passed away, he was so caring and was always accessible for any problem's solution.
Zafar bhai from Vikhroli, said that as marhum was his teacher at Habib High School so it was his duty to be present at this majlis.

End of the Days of the Mourning

Today the women have a hectic day. Ladies majalis are held at every locality and the day ends with rejoice and happines. They apply henna and dress in their best celebrating the coming of Eid-e-Zahra.
The 9th Rabiul Awwal is the day of the begining of the Imamat of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the promised one and the awaited saviour of the mankind.
We wish to every lover of Ahlul Bait (a.s.) a joyous day and request them that not to forget to pray for the early re-appearance of Imam of the Time, Hadhrat Hujjat (atfs). To give sadaqah (charity) on his behalf, prepare delicacies, visit each others homes and feed the poor and the destitute.

Shia Anjumans and Mumbai Shab-bedaaris
Last night, Mumbai city witnessed Majalis followed by Nauha and Matam at various places. At Sitaphal wadi it was the annual programme of Aza on the night of Arbaeen. Maulana Aziz Haider was the zakir. Two anjumans did nauha and maatam reciting about 4 nauhas each. Anjuman-e-Aabidya and Anjuman Haidery of Hallaur.
Another venue was Moghal Masjid, where the zakir was from Lucknow. The crowd was spilling out on the road for Maatam.
At Zainabia Imambada more than 50 anjumans enrolled their names for Nauha Khwaani. The zakir at Zainabia was Sadaf Jaunpuri.
At Imambada Haidery, Yacoob Gali, there was no space inside Imambada, the sitting arrangement for azadaars was made in the lane itself.
The Majlis at Imambada Baaqarya started a bit late. The zaakir was Maulana Ahmad Ali Aabidi. They have very nicely decorated the place and were relaying the programme live from Karbala, Iraq on a big screen.
Elsewhere in the city, the Shab-bedaari was held at Kurla, Govandi, Mumbra, Mira Road, Jogeshwari (east), Malad Malony, Andheri, Bandra and other places.
