Majlis on 14th Barsi at Zainabia
Last evening a Majlis was held at Zainabia Imambada 40 mins before Iftar. Many Olama, Poets, Scholars, Newspaper correspondents and Social Workers attended to remember marhum Sayed Ghulam Hasnain Kararvi. The zakir was Hujjatul Islam Sayed Hasnain Kararvi. He spoke on the greatness of the month of Ramadhan wherein the sleep of a believer is also considered a worship. The spoke of spiritual and material benefits of fasting.
The arrangement for breaking of the fast (Iftar) was made after namaz with jamaat. Later, Taus Mahdi a DNA newspaper sports section correspondence commented that "still after 14 years of passing away of marhum people gather to pay their tribute to him speaks of the deceased person's virtue." People have short memory, most of them forget their kith and kins within a couple of year in this fast moving pattern of life. Marhum Ghulam Hasnain was always kind, helpful and caring to others and was always away from self-promotion and ego. He never harmed or hurt others. He was a true lover of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) and always worked in the way of Imam-e-Zamana (a.s.).

Today is the Barsi of marhum Shaykh Ismail Rajabi (T.S)
Hujjatul Islam wal Muslimeen Maulana Shaikh Ismail Rajabi (r.a.) was a highly learned religious scholar, well-versed in Islamic jurisprudence and other vital subjects like beliefs, history, Tafseer, etc. He led the congregational prayers of Moghal Masjid in Bombay for almost 25 years and regularly explained religious laws from the pulpit for the followers of Ahle Bait (a.s.). Most of his time was spent in reading, writing and research. He had also established a publication organization by the name of ‘Idaarah-e-Nashr-e-Uloom-e-Aale Muhammad (a.s.) along with his near ones individuals, which published numerous books written by him. He penned them in Persian and marhum Sayed Ghulam Hasnain kararvi translated them into Urdu language. They both together formed an organisation by the name of Association of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) whose exclusively spread the name of Imam of the time, Hazrat Imam Mahdi (a.s.). Now, this organisation is flowering in numerous places of the city. He specially concentrated on youth development. He was not the one to be allured by worldly attractions, the revered Shaikh Saahab (r.a.) was a dignified propagator, watchful in actions, careful in words and pure in thoughts. He was an embodiment of all spiritual virtues that Islam stood for and hence, the very mention of Sayyedush Shuhadaa, Imam Husain (a.s.), had him sobbing uncontrollably. He never ceased to think about the guidance and welfare of the Indian Shia community - especially the youth. He always reminded those around him that every Shia had a duty towards their Imam-e-Zamaan (a.t.f.s.) and that they would be intensely questioned about the Mastership of the Ahle Bait (a.s.) in the life hereafter. He refrained the youth from indulging in vain pursuits like sports and films and instead, asked them to concentrate on the true divine sciences of the Ahle Bait (a.s.). He passed away in the month of Rajab of the year 1987 and is buried in the Rehmatabad Grayeyard of Mumbai.
Last night there was a Majlis at Moghal Masjid for his sawaab.
Please recite a surah Fateha for his departed soul.
May Allah the Almighty grant his soul an elevated status in the proximity of the Ahle Bait (a.s.)! Aameen!

Anti Wahhabiyat Day

Protest at number of places by not only Shias, but, also by Sunni brothers on the demolition of Rauzas in Jannatul Baqee. The tombs under which were the graves of 4 holy Imams, Uncle of the Holy Prophet (pbuhp) Janabe Abbas and Hadhrat Fatema Zahra (s.a.), the only and beloved daughter of Holy Prophet of Islam (pbuhp).
Since the construction of Zainabia Imambada in 1988, Eighth shawwal is remembered as the day of mourning. The day of Protest. The founder of this Protest Day at Zainabia Imambada was my marhum father, Sayed Ghulam Hasnain Rizvi Kararvi.
Tonight at 8.30 pm at the same venue, a Majlis will be recited by Maulana Syed Hasnain Kararvi followed by Nauha and Maatam by 2 Anjumans. Anjuman-e-Abidya, Nawgawan Sadaat and Anjuman-e-Imamia, Lucknow.
Some person asked, why we do maatam to protest?
The answer is; We protest to let the world know that this Wahabis destroyed the tomb of the grandsons of their own Prophet (pbuhp) in 1925.
We mourn as the Imam of the time is in ghaybat. We await his re-appearance. His occultation is a great tragedy for us. We pray that Almighty Allah hastens his Zohoor (re-appearance). This mourning and maatam proves that we are alive and concern, and also our love and affection towards our holy Imams (a.s.).
We also pray that the rule of this wahabi regime comes to an end soon so that the tombs at Jannatul Mualla and Jannatul Baqee can be rebuild.
