Yesterday at 10.00 am Hujjatul Islam Maulana Hasan Abbas Khan passed away in Malad hospital at his heart surgery. He was about 40 years of age. He was the secretary of Mujtama (a committee of Mumbai Olama). He was bold and never minced his words to say the truth. He stayed in Mira Road and had left behind his wife and 5 daughters.His namaz-e-janaza was held at Rehmatabad and later his body was taken to his native place, Sultanpur.
