The 13th day of Rajab is the birthday of Hadhrat Ali ibne Abi Taalib (a.s.). On this day a grand procession is started from Kesar Bagh, Dongri, Bombay 400009. The route is:
Kesar Bagh, Hadhrat Abbas street, Shustri Imambada, Zainabia, Yaqub Street, J.J. Hospital, Moghul Masjid, Imamia Masjid and then terminates at Imambada Ameen. There are speeches at different points. This Juloos is a clear manifestation of Muslim Unity. The Juloos is known as Juloos-e-Haidery.
On Thursday, 17th July 2008 at 4.00 pm from Kesar Bagh. At the Zainabia Imambada point there will be a short speech of Maulana Zeeshan Haider Zaidi, the pesh-imam of Zaib Palace, Andheri.
Sweets are distributed. Fire works are arranged by the youths.
