28th Safar Majlis

A Majlis will be held at Zainabia Imambada, Bori Mohalla, Mumbai-400003 on Thursday after Maghrib namaz on the occasion of the commencing of the journey of Imam Husain (a.s.) from Madina with his near & dear ones after denying allegiance to the Khilafat of Yazid on his usurping the leadership of Muslim Ummah.

A'maal of 27th Rajab at Mira Road

Maulana Ehsaan Haider Jawadi has sent the following information:

On Thursday, 31st August 2008, A'maal at Haideri Masjid, Naya Nagar, Mira Road, from 5.30 pm till Namaz of Maghrib followed by Iftaar. Fasting on this day is equal to the fast of 70 years. The Mo'mineen of Mira Road are requested not to miss this spiritual opportunity.

28th Rajab Juloos at Malony, Malad

A Juloos on the 28th Rajab (1st August 2008) which will start at 4.00 pm from Plot no. 6, Malony Colony, Malad. Two Majlises; one before the Juloos and another one after the Juloos.
This Juloos is to remember the commencement of the Journey of Imam Husain (a.s.) along with his Family, Relatives, Friends and Followers from Madina which ultimately ended at Karbala.

13th Rajab - The birthday of Imam Ali (a.s)

The 13th day of Rajab is the birthday of Hadhrat Ali ibne Abi Taalib (a.s.). On this day a grand procession is started from Kesar Bagh, Dongri, Bombay 400009. The route is:

Kesar Bagh, Hadhrat Abbas street, Shustri Imambada, Zainabia, Yaqub Street, J.J. Hospital, Moghul Masjid, Imamia Masjid and then terminates at Imambada Ameen. There are speeches at different points. This Juloos is a clear manifestation of Muslim Unity. The Juloos is known as Juloos-e-Haidery. 

On Thursday, 17th July 2008 at 4.00 pm from Kesar Bagh.  At the Zainabia Imambada point there will be a short speech of Maulana Zeeshan Haider Zaidi, the pesh-imam of Zaib Palace, Andheri.

Sweets are distributed. Fire works are arranged by the youths.
