Shia Claim on Lucknow Jewish temple

Free Masonic Temple at Ram Tirath Marg in Hazratganj area was originally a Waqf property and is mausoleum, Karbala Moatmuddaula.
Lucknow: Shia community has once again raised the demand for handing over the Free Masonic Temple situated at Ram Tirath Marg in Hazratganj at Lucknow. A signature campaign has begun by Shia-e-Haider-e-Karrar for staking claim over the campus.
The association aims to get over two lakhs signatures in support of their campaign. “We will hand over the signatures and memorandum to the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Shia clerics have also extended their support to our movement,” said Ali Agha, an office bearer of the association.

Earlier on 12 September 2011, hundreds of of Shia Muslims led by Imam-e-Juma Maulana Kalbe Jawwad had staged protest to stake claim over Free Masonic Temple. Shias claimed it be to a mausoleum of their Imams and presently being illegally occupied by Jews.
As per the claims of the Shia Muslims, the Free Masonic Temple is waqf property registered by the name Waqf Karbala Moatmuddaula with Shia Waqf Board. It was constructed by King Naseeuruddin Haider in 1815. It came under the possession of East India Company in February 1856 and they handed it over to Jews."

Azadaari in Afghanistan

Azadaari is the Shield of Shia’ism

On Wednesday night, Khateeb-E-Ahle Bayt Maulana Zaki Baqri was stopped from delivering a Majlis at the Iranian Mosque (Moghul Masjid), Bhindi Bazaar. The ones who stopped him were also ‘Azadars’ from the community.
Maulana Baqri, however, has no complaints. In an elaborate interview with The Friday Journal, Maulana Baqri felt it were some misguided youths who were provoked in the name and love of Ahle Bayt (AS).
Excerpts from the interview:
What was the most diff icult moment for Imam Husain (AS) in Karbala?
The most difficult moment for Imam (AS) was that the Islam was being slaughtered by its own so-called religious people. Haafiz of those times had passed fatwas that Imam (AS) should be killed. Namaz with Takbeer and the killing  of Imam (AS) was the most painful moment.
When Imam (AS) was leaving the Khaima (tent) everyone knew he would not return.Imam’s (AS) last words were that Zainab, Umme Kulsoom, Sakina and Rabab now get ready for the hardships that you will have to undergo after he was martyred.

A lot of youths avoid sitting on Farsh-e-Aza, what should be done to bring them back?
This is the responsibility of all of us to make everyone aware. The biggest thing in Shiaism is Azadari, if the youngsters start avoiding it, there could be many reasons behind it. The perception level of youth has increased and preaching should be of the same level. And if he doesn’t get the content he is thirsty for he starts avoiding Majlis. So whenever he finds the preaching of his level he never misses it.
The biggest problem with youngsters is that they carry a vacuum within. Their thinking is different from what they are taught.
The second reason, which is more deeper, is that enemies of Islam are deviating the youth.
The enemy is aware that Azadaari is the shield of Shia’ism so they are now making inroads and deviating everyone. They are searching for ways to defuse Majlis-e-Husain, and to end the spirit within the community. By the grace of Allah, even after such attempts the youths do attend Majalis. Eventually it’s Allah’s (SWT) religion and he will save it from hardships.

Why are you being pulled in controversies? Why are you being targeted all the time?
Momineens are being confused and made to believe that Maulana Zaqi Baqri is against Azadari and against the chants of Nara-E-Hyderi.
Every year innocent people are brainwashed. The enemies do not dare to present my whole Majlis. They take my Majalis in parts to turn people against me.
For Example: If only Laa Taqrabus Salaah (Do not go near Namaz) is taken from Holy Quran the entire perception changes. The world would obviously ask for Ayats that follow.
Similarly, by breaking the speeches into pieces, one can defame any Aalim or religious personality. With things like this we can prove them Kafir, no matter how big or knowledgeable they are. The machinery behind this must be exposed and brought to light. The bloodline of these mischievous people who are against Azadari is doubtful. They have no relation with the religion. Those against Naar-E-Haidery have no relation with Shiit’e or Islam.
And the ones misinterpreting my Majlis, Inshallah, even they will have to answer before Allah on the day of Judgement.
I am sorry for the trouble momineens faced the other day. They feel I am against Azadari.
They are not my enemy, but they have a problem with someone, they think, is against the Ahle Bayt (AS) and Majalis. It is the love towards Ahle Bayt (AS) and therefore their reaction is natural.
They don’t know me and are only sincere towards Ahle Bayt. If they talk to me and spend some days with me, they will come to know about my beliefs and my thinking.
To know me and my thoughts Momineens can log into www.al-bayaan14.com where over 1000 Majalis of mine have been uploaded. And if they find fault in any Majlis of mine, I am ready to become his slave.

Why do you think people protest in such a manner using Azadari as tool?
There is a troika of motivational factor, budget and manpower. If Majlis is attacked the roots of the Shiaism will start losing its grip. No one can harm Azadari given to us by Masoomeens.
Second is speaking against the Marjia’s and third is budget (Khums). These fitnas are being imported from the outer world. I request the momineens to recognise the enemies of Islam and the one using you. The day they get recognised, Inshallah many problems will be solved.

Basically, who are these people who are trying to create rift within the community?
Wahabis and Saudi Arabia are on top of the list, who are fully responsible for Shia killings and attacks on the economy of Shias all over the world.
Zionists also have their hands behind these mischiefs. They have found out that we can finish all the Islamic movements except Shia movement. And the only way to finish them is by entering the community.
They want to know why Shias are as firm and have stood their ground. They are turning our strengths into our weaknesses.

What message you want to give to the youths?
Lack of understanding religion is our weakness. I would request all youths to at least learn the basics of religion. For that, recite Quran with translation, perform Salah and attend lectures in madrasas where religion is explained properly. If the youth gains knowledge, he will automatically recognise the enemies. Request you to read Shaheed Murtaza Mutahhari, who’s books are available online. Your religion and your vision will be widened.
May Allah Hasten the reappearance of our beloved Imam Mahdi (AS).

Forget Syria, Save Your Own Country Mr. Obama!

Twenty students and six adult victims were fatally shot by a gunman -- who later killed himself -- at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in the town of Newtown in the US state of Connecticut on Friday.

One person was also injured in the incident.

"The majority of those who died today were children, beautiful little kids between the ages of five and ten years old," Obama said on Friday. "They had their entire lives ahead of them, birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own."

"We are going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this regardless of the politics," Obama said.

If Marjaeyat is Finished Shi-iyat is Finished - Mirza Mohammad Athar

These are testing times for the Islamic world and more so for the followers of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.). The Shias are being attacked from all quarters and at every level. There is a conscious effort on part of the enemies to not only cause physical harm but even sow the seeds of division and hatred in the Shia community.
In a chat with Friday Journal — Khateeb-e-Akbar Maulana Mirza Mohammad Athar Saheb — in his own inimitable way describes the way forward for the Shia youth.

Following are excerpts of an interview.
Where do you think the Shias stand globally and nationally?
Globally today the Shia community has a good standing. Iran, which use to be considered a Shia nation, has grown. You will come across Shias majorly in every part of the world such as entire Middle East, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Europe and elsewhere. Nationally Shias have a good standing too and yes of course financially Shias are doing quite well especially the Shias of Pakistan, India and Middle East.

The oppressed and the oppressor have always existed. How do you see the current Israel-Palestine conflict?
If you look at history prophet Musa (a.s) gave freedom to Bani Israel from the oppression of Firaun (Pharaoh). During Hazrat Esa’s (a.s) time his followers were oppressed by the Israelis. The incident of Karbala is completely different from other incidents. Here a tribe and a sect was oppressed. Yazid was a super power of his time. He ruled 1/3rd part of the world and in Karbala he was not oppressing a nation but only Imam Husain (a.s.). Yazid just wanted bayat of Imam Husain (a.s) as he was not interested in bayats of others. It was Imam Husain (a.s) who used minimum resources and minimum time to win the war of Karbala. Palestine is fighting, Afghanistan is fighting but till date there is no result. But Imam Husain (a.s) vanquished the entire empire of Yazid and his evil motives till Qayamat and that too in a matter of six months — from Rajab till Moharram.
Israel attacking Palestine is not a small issue. Merely protesting the atrocities inflicted on Palestinians in different parts of the world will not provide any solution. The voice of the protests goes on for a few before it fades away. If today the Muslim world wants to end this merciless killings of Palestinians, then all the Islamic countries and it’s people should unite and take strong action against Israel. All Muslim countries should first talk and if a solution is not found then all bilateral relationship with Israel and its backers should come to an end. That will be called a strong protest.

These days we see youngsters talking ill about the Marjae and Ulema. Why do you think this is happening?
A well-financed group called Akhbaris is behind this. They are a product of the super powers and they have been trained to weaken the community. That is because the super powers are only too well aware that if they have to break the Shias it can only be done by its own people. It is as if Marjaeyat is finished Shiyat is finished. So there are some anti-social elements who are carrying out this drive of attacking the aalim, Ulema and Marajae. Secondly, the speaker should be very clear during majalis of what he is saying and what the crowd will perceive. Due to less knowledge of our speakers who are new it is also affecting our community. They are not fully aware about Quran, history, fiqh and other topics. This keeps the youngsters confused because they don’t get satisfactory answers to their questions and that leads to misinformation.
There are a few others who wear the dress but don’t have complete knowledge and it is them who are creating problems. A youth’s mind is as clean as a board and so it is easy to divert. So the youth from the community are being misguided as they don’t get satisfactory information from our speakers.

How should youth take advantage of the social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter?
Social networking sites are very good mediums to exchange views, ideas and information with large number of people with just a click of a button. But we are all aware that everything in this world has its pros and cons. Using internet, watching TV to gain knowledge is good, but on the other hand, if you are using it for other negative purposes it can corrupt your mind. It completely depends on yourself. It is the duty of the elders who should keep a watch on youngsters as to what they are doing on the net.

Shia minority scores big win in Kuwaiti polls

Kuwait's Shia minority has won for the first time more than a third of the 50-member parliament in polls boycotted by the opposition which declared the new assembly "illegitimate" due to poor voter turnout.
According to official results released on Sunday, the Shias - who form around 30 per cent of Kuwait's native population of 1.2 million - won 17 seats compared with seven they won in the scrapped 2012 parliament and nine in the 2009 house.
Three women were elected to the new parliament compared to four in 2009, according to figures released by the National Election Commission.
The new house includes as many as 30 new faces reflecting the total boycott by former MPs who consist as the leading members of the opposition.
Sunni Islamists were reduced to a small minority of four MPs compared with as many as 23 in the house elected in February. Full Story

Maybe this is our last Moharram?

The following message is sent by bro. Asker Raza Kazmi to share with the readers.
Moharram is approaching.... Therefore lets start preparing spiritually and mentally.
Here are a few things to try to make our remembrance of Imam Husain (peace be upon him) a more lasting and rewarding experience.
1. Do wudhu (abulution) and wear casual wear & attend Majalis.
2. Try to be on time in Majalis.
3. Don't stand outside and enter when Maulana starts the Hadees.
4. Switch off or keep on silent mode your mobiles before entering the Hall.
5. Try to adjust comfort/yourself where ever u find place.
6. Do not park your vehicles at wrong place it will cause inconvenience to others and unwanted.
7. Interruption for Maulana to announce your vehicle no to take out from wrong parking.
8. Don't cross talk among your friends in the majalis because Maulana will speak we have to listen.
9. Don't waste the Niaz(Tabarruk serve after Majalis), because it is a medicine for incurable diseases.
10. While having Niaz (Tabarruk) after Majalis, don't crack jokes and talk un-related topics other than Azadari.
11.Avoid Riakari (showoff) as it is a very dangerous and incurable diseases directly leads to Valley of Hell.
12. Always attend Majalis with your full family, and take feedback from your children’s.

Maybe this is our last Moharram (last chance)?
In my personal opinion after having composed and read the below lessons again and again, I have reached to a conclusion that it would be our first step to prepare for Moharram. And if we take the first step correctly, there is a good chance that we may succeed in achieving what we need to achieve being a true soldier of Imam-e-Zamana (A.T.F.S.A. - A.S.).

12 LESSONS FROM KARBALA
1. Purpose of life.
2. Abrupt change & complete U turn in Life.
3. Importance of Leadership & Taqleed.
4. Selection of Spouse & Islamic Upbringing.
5. Avoid unlawful earning, greediness & worldly gains.
6. Better husband & wife relationship.

Important Historical Landmarks in Makkah

Rahma Mountain
1. Jabalur Rahma (mountain of peace)
It is makrooh to climb the mountain during the wuqoof in Arafa,
Situated in Arafa it is where prophet Aadam (a.s.) landed when he came to earth.
It is here that prophet Ibraheem (a.s.) had his dream of sacrificing his son Ismaeel (a.s.).
Pray 2 rak'at salaat and ask for forgiveness for it is here that hadhrat Aadam (a.s.)'s Dua of tawba was accepted.
Masjid Nimrah in Arafat

2. Masjidun Nimrah
It is an extensively developed masjid. Tha ahlul Kisa (a.s.) whilst performing Hajj prayed here and it is in this masjid that Dua-e-Arafa was recited by Imam Zainul Aabedeen (a.s.). It is situated in Arafa.

Masjid Khaif in Mina

3. Masjidul Khaif
Al Khaif Mosque is situated in Mina where pilgrims offer their prayers during their stay at Mina. It is 25,000 square meters in area and can accommodate 25,000 pilgrims.

Masjid Umrah

4. Masjidul Umrah or Tan'eem
It is a meeqaat for performing Umraah Mufrida for the Haajis.

Abu Qubais Mountain

5. Kohe Abu Qubais
This mountain range which was the first mountain to be created by Allah is all but destroyed now with palaces and tunnels.
However, a slight glimpse of what may have been a mountain may be visible. It is here that the Ark of prophet Nooh (a.s.) passed and paused.
In this mountain, prophet Aadam (a.s.) is buried and it was here that the Prophet (s.a.) split the moon in two with Allah's permission. (refer holy Qur'an 54:1,2).

Jannatul Mualla

6. Jannatul Mualla
To mention a few those who are buried here are:
Hadhrat Haashim,
Hadhrat Abdul Muttalib,
Hadhrat Abu Taalib,
Bibi Khadija,
Qaasim (the Prophet (s.a.)'s infant son) and many more
Jannatul Mualla was desecrated too by Wahhabi rulers in 1925.

Mountain of Noor

7. Jabalun Noor
There are no steps cut into the mountain as there are on Jabalur Rahma.
It takes quite a while  to climb to the cave.
Exhausted, think of Janab Sayyida Khadija (a.s.) who used to bring food to the Prophet (s.a.) everyday. There is hardly any space in the cave. A 'hole' (window) faces the Ka'bah. It is a breathtaking sight where the key word is 'Peace'.

Hijab Wins

When Amra Babic walks down the streets of the central Bosnian town of Visoko wearing her Muslim headscarf, men sitting in outdoor cafes instantly rise from their chairs, fix their clothes and put out their cigarettes.
The respect is only natural: Babic is their new mayor.
The 43 year-old economist has blazed a trail in this war-scarred Balkan nation by becoming its first hijab-wearing mayor, and possibly the only one in Europe. Her victory comes as governments elsewhere in Europe debate laws to ban the Muslim veil, and Turkey, another predominantly Islamic country seeking EU membership, maintains a strict policy of keeping religious symbols out of public life.
For Babic, the electoral triumph is proof that observance of Muslim tradition is compatible with Western democratic values.
"It's a victory of tolerance," the wartime widow says. "We have sent a message out from Visoko. A message of tolerance, democracy and equality."
She sees no contradiction in the influences that define her life.
"I am the East and I am the West," she declares. "I am proud to be a Muslim and to be a European. I come from a country where religions and cultures live next to each other. All that together is my identity." Read Full

Hajj Guide: Stay in Arafaat

The Period of the Halt in Arafaat
There is consensus among the legal schools that the day of the halt in 'Arafaat is the 9th of Dhu al‑Hijjah, but they disagree as to the hour of its beginning and end on that day. According to the Hanafi, the Shafi'i, and the Maliki schools, it begins at midday on the 9th and lasts until the daybreak (fajr) on the tenth. According to the Hanbali school, from the daybreak on the 9th until daybreak on the tenth. According to the Imamiyyah, from midday on the 9th until sunset on the same day, for one who is free to plan; and in case of one in an exigency, until the following daybreak.
It is mustahabb to take a bath for the wuquf in 'Arafaat, to be performed like the Friday bath. There is no rite to be performed in 'Arafaat except one's presence there: one may sleep or keep awake, sit, stand, walk around or ride a mount.

The Limits of ‘Arafaat
The limits of 'Arafaat are `Arnah, Thawbah, and from Nimrah to Dhu al‑Majaz, which are names of places around 'Arafaat. One may not make the halt in any of those places, neither in Taht al‑'Arak, because they are outside 'Arafaat. If one were to make the halt in any of those places, his Hajj is invalid by consensus of all the schools, with the exception of the Maliki, according to which one may halt at `Arnah though he will have to make a sacrifice.
The entire area of 'Arafaat is mawqif (permissible for the wuqaf) and one may make the halt at any spot within it by consensus of all schools. Al‑'Imam al‑Sadiq (`a) relates that when the Prophet (s) made the halt at 'Arafaat, the people crowded around him, rushing along on the hoof‑prints of his camel. Whenever the camel moved, they moved along with it. (When he saw this), the Prophet said, "O people, the mawqif isnot confined to where my camel stands, rather this entire 'Arafaat is mawqif," and pointed to the plains of 'Arafaat. "If the mawqif were limited to where my camel stands, the place would be too little for the people." (al‑Tadhkirah)

Hajj Guide: House of the holy Prophet (s.a.)

Door of the house of Sayyida Faatima Zahra (s.a.)
The Zareeh of the holy Prophet (s.a.) is divided into three. The  first third (near Baab-e-Jibraeel) is the house of Sayyida Faatima Zahra (a.s.). It is reported that she is buried there with her son Mohsin.

This is the house for which suratud Dahr was revealed, the house where her unborn son Muhsin died and the house where Imam Hasan & Husain (pbut) were born.

In the middle portion it is said that there is the space for one grave- for Prophet Isa (a.s.) beside the prophet Mohammad (s.a.)

Directly beyond Sayyida Faatema Zahra's (a.s.) house is a platform where a group of Prophet's followers called 'Ahlul Suffa' used to stay. They were homeless. The Prophet used to sit and talk to them after Salatul Tahajjud. Follow his sunna by reciting Qur'an after salaah.

Hajj Guide: Visit Masjidun Nabawi and Prophet's Grave

Baab-e-Jibraeel, one of the entrance to Masjidun Nabawi
Baab-e-Jibraeel is the best door to enter Masjidun Nabawi, It is located to the North-West side of the Masjid, the side of Jannatul Baqee.
Seek permission (Izne Dokhool) to enter the Masjid for the ziyarat of the Messenger of Allah.
Translation of it is:
"O Allah! I am standing at the door of one of the houses of Your prophet and the family of Your prophet peace be upon him and his family.
May I enter, O Prophet of Allah?
May I enter, O Proof of Allah?
May I enter, O angels of Allah?"

As soon you cross the threshold (with your right foot), enter with humility reciting:
"In the name of Allah and by Allah and on the religion of the Prophet of Allah peace be upon him and his family.
O Allah! forgive me and have mercy on me and turn repentant towards me for You are most forgiving and merciful."

Then recite takbeer 100 times as you walk in.
Recite 2 rak'at salaah (namaaz) with the niyyat of Tahiyyate Masjid (a prayer of greetings to the Masjid).

Walking through the door you will  see a structure ahead and to the left. It is the 'Zareeh.' The nearest end is the house of Bibi Faatemah (phuh) whilst further to the left are the graves of the Prophet (pbuh), Abu Bakr and Umar.

Greet the Prophet (pbuh) whilst standing as near as possible, standing in his presence as though he were still alive in the physical world. He knows you are there, and that you have come to visit him. All your salaams reach him, for Allah sends angels to greet anyone from his Ummah who greets him.

Recite ziyaraah of the Prophet (pbuh).
After reciting ziyaraah perform 2 rak'at of salaah of ziyaraah.
Standing there raise your hands in dua and ask Allah for your needs standing in the presence of the holy Prophet (pbuh).

Grand Seminar in Mumbai

Madina, the City of Messenger of Allah

Said to be Abu Ayyub Ansari's house in Madina
Yathrib was populated by the Jews who travelled there knowing about the coming of the last Prophet (s.a.).
Following the Hijra (migration) from the Makka to Madina, each resident wanted Messenger of Allah (s.a.) to stay with them. He said, he will stay wherever Kiswa (his camel) sits. Kiswa sits outside the house of Abu Ayyub Ansari (he was from the progeny of Tubba).
The place where Kiswa sat was designated as masjid and was bought from two orphans. This is the site of Masjidun Nabi (the 2nd masjid to be built. 1st was built in Quba on the way to Madina).

As soon as you see the city, remember that it the city of the Prophet (s.a.). You will be walking upon the very places where the prophet (s.a.) walked. You are in the city where Islam was established, the city where he still lives. Try to make no delay in going directly to the masjid.
Remember, that although you cannot visualise him in the physical world, it is he to whom you sent salaams to in every salaat (namaaz), he to who you owe your ne'ma (bounty)-ISLAM.
Raise your hopes in anticipation of meeting him. The city is called Madinatur Rasool.

Land Sharks Gobble Up 31 Shia Graveyards out of 47 in Lucknow

Lucknow had 47 Shia graveyards registered with the Shia Central Board of Waqfs (SCBW), but 31 of them do not exist any more. Private houses and other establishments have come up on their land. This has resulted in acute land shortage for burial space, leading to a steep rise in the rates of grave land. People are reserving their burial land in graveyards during their lifetime at a premium.
The situation came to the fore when some Shia community members complained to SCBW about costly grave land at Imambara Ghufran Maab, which is allegedly under the caretakership of Shia cleric Kalbe Jawwad. Working chairman of SCBW Syed Waseem Rizvi confirmed the report and stated that land of each grave was sold for Rs 65,000, making it impossible for poor Shias to bury their dead.
People have started booking their grave land while still alive. Such land, known as hayati qabr (living grave), usually has a small board with the name of the person who has bought it. The general rate is Rs 10,000 for the first three years and then renewal on additional payment. People also make bulk bookings and then sell grave land like real estate. Full Story

Eidul Fitr Prayers

Eidul Fitr Prayers
It is considered by tradition to be an obligatory [Wajib - prayer, though technically it is an optional prayer with the injunction that it is preferable to offer even if optional (Sunnat-e-Muvakkadah)].
This prayer is Sunnat during the period of occultation of the Imam-e-Zamana(a.s.). Ghusl (Purification Bath) on Eid day is sunnat, which should preferably be taken under a shelter and not under the open sky.
Before offering Eid prayers it is recommended to have a breakfast of dates. The specified time of Eid prayer is between sunrise and the sun"s initial decline (Zawal).
If this prayer happens to be missed it cannot be offered late as "Qaza". Women are exempted from this prayer. The Prayer of Eid-ul-fitr can be performed individually if one has missed the Jama"at.

Takbir before Namaz-e-Eid: "Allaaho Akbar, Allaaho Akbar, Laa Ilaaha Illallaah Wallaaho Akbar, Allaaho Akbar, Wa lillaahil Hamd. Alhamdulillah Alaa Maa Hadaanaa Walahu Shukr Alaa Maa Aulana."

This prayer consists of two Rakats. Niyyat (Intention) should be in these words: "I resolve to offer two Rakats Namaz-e-Eid, Sunnat Qurbatan Ellallah". This should be followed by "Takbir" (Allah-Ho-Akber). In the first Rakat after Sura "Al-Hamd", recite Sura "Ala" or The Most High. Then five times Dua-e-Qunoot, followed by Ruku and then Sajda.

Then up again for the second Rakat. In the second Rakat after Sura "Al-Hamd" recite Sura "Shams" or The Sun and four times "Dua-e-Qunoot". After this the namaz should be completed like the Morning Prayer.
Pray the Eid prayers.

It is advisable to pray the Eid prayers in the open ground in congregation. If prayed in congregation the rules of "congregational prayers" should be followed.) It is a 2 Rak-a't Salaat.

Stand erect, still and humble. Say Takbeeratul Ih'raam (Allahu Akbar). Make "Niyyat":

"I Pray 2 Rak-a't Salaat ul Eid (Fit'r or Ad'haa), seeking nearness to Allah, in His obedience".

First Rak-a't
(i)Recite Soorah Al Faatih'ah, and Soorah Al Aa'-laa.
(ii)Say Allaahu Akbar
(iii)Then recite the following Qunoot:

(Please remember that the above noted(ii) and (iii) have to be rcited, one after the other, 5 times).
(iv)Then say the 6th Takbeer and perform Rukoo and Sujood of the first Rak-a't.
Second Rak-a't
(i)Recite Soorah Al Faatih'ah, and Soorah Ash-Shams.
(ii)Say Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) and Qunoot 4 times, one after the other.

Friday, August 17 is International Qods Day

The last Friday of Muslims’ holy month of Ramadan on is International Qods Day which is today August 17.
The International Quds Day was first declared by the founding father of the Islamic Republic Grand Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini in 1979, who designated the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as an occasion for Muslims around the world to rally in support of the Palestinians.

Last night  a team supporting Palestinian liberation was at Mira Road, Haidery Masjid and gave a wonderful presentation on Qods. The crowd was overwhelming and many were witnessing about Qods in detail for the first time.
Mr. Irtiza said that he did not know that the Israel is actually Palestine. Mr. Tariq wondered that such atrocities on the Palestinians and the Arabs are silent and doing business with America and Europe calling themselves the staunch supporters and the advocates of human rights.
Mr. Zaki Haider said that he will write to the US consulate about the issue as a mark of protest and in support of Palestinians.

What is Qods Day?

Quds Day is an international day, it is not a day devoted to Quds alone. It is the day for the weak and oppressed to confront the arrogant powers, the day for those nations suffering under the pressure of American oppression and oppression by other powers to confront the superpowers; it is the day when the oppressed should arm themselves against the oppressors and rub their noses in the dirt; it is the day when the hypocrites will be distinguished from the true believers. For the true believers acknowledge this day as Quds Day and do what they must do. The hypocrites, however, those who are secretly affiliated with the superpowers and are friends of Israel, are either indifferent on this day or do not allow the people to hold demonstrations.

Quds Day is the day when the fate of the oppressed nations should be determined. The oppressed nations should announce their existence against the oppressors, and just as Iran rose up and rubbed the noses of the oppressors in the dirt, and will continue to do so,  all the nations should rise up and throw these germs of corruption into the rubbish bintoo.

Quds Day is the day when the followers of the former regime in Iran and those who conspire for the corrupt regime (Israel) and the superpowers in other regions, particularly in Lebanon, should be put in their place. It is the day when we must strive to rescue Quds and deliver our Lebanese brothers from these pressures. It is the day when we must free all the oppressed from the clutches of the oppressors, the day when the Muslim community, when all the Muslims should announce their existence and warn the superpowers . . . Quds Day is the day when the superpowers should be warned to stay at home and leave the oppressed alone. Israel, the enemy of mankind, the enemy of humanity, which is creating disturbances every day and is attacking our brothers in south Lebanon, must realise that its masters are no longer accepted in the world and must retreat. They must give up their ambitious designs on Iran, their hands must be severed from all the Islamic countries and their agents in these countries must step down. Quds Day is the day for announcing such things, for announcing such things to the satans who want to push the Islamic nations aside and bring the superpowers into the arena. Quds Day is the day to dash their hopes and warn them that those days are gone.
