Dear all,
At 06:57am GMT (2:57pm local time) a desperate urgent message was received:
"Happening now! Police, JAIS and local council are raiding a gathering remembering the birth of Lady Fatima Zahra (daughter of the Prophet Muhammad).  Four arrested including Kamil Zuhairi Abd Aziz."
This act of sectarian hatred by a state against its citizens was in addition to the seizure of land belonging to the community on 7 May 2011 coinciding with the mourning commemoration of Lady Fatima Zahra that week.
No further details.

Celebrating the Wiladat of Lady Fatima Zahra (s.a.)

Ibn ˋAbbas narrates from the Prophet (S) that he stated:
“My daughter Fatima is the foremost of all the women of the world, past and future. She is a portion of me, the light of my eyes, the fruit of my heart and a spirit that resides in my body... Be witness that that I have granted her followers amnesty from the fire of hell.”
Her Birth
According to Shaykh al-Kulayni, Fatima Zahra was born 5 years after the appointment of the Prophet to his mission (bi’that). Shaykh al-Mufid places her birth at 2 years after the bi’that, and Shaykh al-Tusi has mentioned both dates. Accordingly, she lived for 8 or 11 years in Makka before she migrated to Madina, and according to Ya’qubi, two months after the hijra5, and according to Mas‟udi, in the second year of hijra, the Prophet married her to Ali b. Abu Talib.
Sunni scholars usually mention that she was born 5 years before the bi‟that, in the year that the Quraysh rebuilt the Ka‟ba. Some of them, like Hakim Nishaburi, have also mentioned that she was born a year after the bi‟that, when the Prophet was 41 years old. For detail

Wonderful Experience of Pilgrimage to Syria, Iraq & Iran

Shrine of Janabe Zainab (a.s.)
The Pilgrimage to the Shrines in Syria, Iraq and Iran was wonderful. The weather was favorable and the co-passengers were caring and co-operative with each other. We are 46 pilgrims, all from different regions of India. Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bulandshaher, Lucknow, Ajmer and Mumbai. They were all excited to be in front of the holy shrines. Ayyame Faatemi coincided our visit to Sayyedah Zainab, at the Shrine of Zainabe Kubra, the elder daughter of Amirul Mo'mineen Imam Ali (a.s.).
It took us 30 hrs. to reach Damascus from Mumbai. The flight of Saudi Airlines was supposed to take-off from Sahaar Airport at 6.35 AM on Friday 15th April, delayed for 14 hrs. and were in transit at Riyadh Airport for another 8 hrs. while normally it takes 9 hrs. including transit, to travel from Mumbai to Damascus. The reason for delay was sandstorm in Madina and in the northern part of Saudi Arabia.
Most of the tour operators to save money travel by Air Arabia, a low fare airline. The airline does not serve free meals or water in the aircraft. Even a bottle of water comes at a cost. Passengers are not allowed to carry water in the aircraft due to security reasons. Syrian government issues paper visa to the visitors coming in groups or caravans.
We stayed at the Hotel Bina al-Qasim at Sayyeda Zainab, just 200 away metres from the holy shrine.
